Pluriversum

Centro Studi Pluriversum (CSP) is an Italian organisation with over 20 years of experience in career guidance, education, employability services and entrepreneurship support. CSP develops, both at local and international level (mainly on Erasmus+ projects), innovative methodologies, traditional digital and AI-based solutions to strengthen guidance systems, recognize and validate skills and support their development, prevent early school leaving and improve transitions between education, training and the labour market, with a strong focus on inclusion and lifelong learning. The CSP multidisciplinary team includes over 150 professionals, including trainers, counsellors, researchers and project managers. Accredited as employment agency and training provider by Regione Toscana and ISO 9001 certified, CSP works with public employment services and educational institutions, operating across 50+ employment centres and supporting over 10,000 beneficiaries per year, including students, jobseekers and vulnerable groups.

Involved partners from Romania, Italy, and Germany, collaborating through the exchange of good practices and experiences.

HITS

Addressed the need to strengthen academic tutoring services in higher
education through the ethical and effective use of artificial intelligence into student support systems, promoting personalised guidance and improving academic success.

Involves partner organisations from Italy, Spain, Romania, Lithuania, and Slovenia, combining expertise in higher education, educational innovation, and student guidance.

Adopted a Participatory Action Research approach, actively involving students, tutors, and higher education institutions in the co-creation and validation of project outputs.

Developed resources including an AI Learning Library, an ethical framework for AI-based tutoring, and an AI-driven chatbot to support students and academic staff.

Addressed the complexity of cities as social and cultural spaces, exploring themes of inclusion, belonging, gentrification, and community engagement in contemporary European urban life, and understanding cities as a “fourth skin” that shapes individual and collective identity.

Involves 4 partner organizations from: Germany, Hungary Italy and North Macedonia.

Brought together students and educators to develop guided city tours of their own cities, explore each other’s urban contexts through transnational workshops and document their experiences through photos, videos and theatre performances.

Addressed the lack of support for student academic success in developing non-cognitive skills, particularly “grit”, defined as perseverance and passion for long-term goals, through innovative learning approaches linked to civic engagement and social awareness.

Involves 8 partner organisations from 7 European countries: Italy, Spain, Romania, Greece, Lithuania, Slovenia, and an international accreditation body (ACEEU).

Developed a set of structured resources including a theoretical handbook, a digital escape room, and an AI-based system using machine learning and sentiment analysis to help students build non-cognitive skills within the academic context.

Careers Around me

Addressed the growing need for citizens to manage their own career development in a rapidly changing world, developing a European framework of Career Management Skills (CMS) through a social innovation experiment across multiple European territories.

Involves 8 partner organisations from 6 European countries: Italy, Romania, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria and Spain.

Produced a digital CMS framework catalogue, a repository of literature and training materials on career guidance, a collection of digital tools to develop CMS across different target groups and a policy planner toolkit for guidance providers and policymakers.

Addressed the need to equip young people from different educational backgrounds, higher education (HE), vocational education and training (VET) and NEETs, with key competencies for entrepreneurship, circular economy and sustainability through solving real life challenges in the circular transition.

Involves partners from 4 European countries: the Netherlands, Italy, Estonia and Spain.

Developed a shortlist of methods to develop green and entrepreneurial competences; a set of educational videos that introduce the core methodologies of the ReGen program; an open-sourced manual for practitioners to replicate the ReGen program; an online course on circular economy and a Hackathon methodology for challenge-based learning.

Addressed the multidimensional exclusion of people with disabilities from adequate career opportunities and labour market participation, by improving access to quality, accessible labour market information (LMI) and career guidance supporting autonomous career exploration, decision-making and economic independence.

Addressed the paradox between the growing importance employers place on transversal skills and their limited visibility in existing validation and guidance processes experimenting with innovative approaches to make the validation of transversal skills acquired through non formal and informal learning (VNFIL) explicit and embedded in policy.

Involves 16 partner organizations from 7 European countries: Austria, Belgium, Lithuania, Italy, France, Poland and Denmark.

Conducted research, developed a training curriculum and toolkit for validation assessors, counsellors and career guidance practitioners, and ran field trials in five pilot countries, producing policy coherence reports and recommendations to strengthen VNFIL systems across Europe.

Addressed the need to improve the quality of career guidance in secondary schools, investigating local needs across European countries to support teachers in designing effective career education programmes and guidance services based on a Career Management Skills framework.
